Let me tell you, Lima changed my perspective of la Paz and South America as a whole. It is amazing here. It's a booming metropolis that is on top of the game.
It really makes me wonder; what is Buenos Aires like? Sao Paolo? Rio? Now I need to see the other big cities because I think Lima is wonderful.
The food is great. The women are beautiful. The scenery is wonderful. It's such a lush, naturally beautiful town! The fruit.. Honestly? Doesn't get better. Best I've ever had. It tastes so fresh!
There are so many parks and almost always they have activities going on. On any day Parque Kennedy is filled with people dancing, and sometimes live bands randomly show up and play.
The coffee and the chocolate is incredible. Cacao is proudly grown in Peru, and with over 70% of the country being jungle, there's a lot to show for it. Just the other day I had an amazing coffee and cake for around 4 dollars.
Lima is fantastic. Again, I don't want to leave. This is my first time in ages on an ocean, and the weather is nice enough to go for a dip.
The other day we went for a nice bike ride along the ocean. The views to take in are wonderful. Everything here is. It made me realize how behind La Paz was.
I'm a big fan of local graffiti, and Lima doesn't let you down. There's also a lot less terrible tags, and better thoughtful stuff. I'll be posting more as we actually set off on a trip soon!
